All children should have the opportunity to develop according to their educational needs within an inclusive environment. The effectiveness of the school support team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. This research aimed to explore the perspectives of teaching staff in kindergartens, including headmasters, teachers, and teaching assistants, regarding inclusive education, with a specific focus on their views and attitudes towards the roles of school special educators and teaching assistants in preschool education. A mixed-methods research strategy was employed to achieve this aim. Data were collected using a self-constructed questionnaire containing both closed and open items, completed by 394 respondents from 142 kindergartens. The findings indicated that teaching staff perceived the existence of a school support team as having a positive impact on addressing various children's issues and enhancing teachers' work. These results contribute to a broader understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the members of a school support team in kindergartens.</style>
<issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">4</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Original article</style></work-type><section><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">521-538</style></section></record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Ivana Rochovská</style></author><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Božena Švábová</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">THE USE OF CREATIVE DRAMA METHODS WITHIN KINDERGARTENS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE TEACHING STAFF</style></title><secondary-title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Problems of Education in the 21st Century</style></secondary-title></titles><keywords><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">creative drama</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">creative drama methods</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">kindergarten teacher</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">preschool education</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">teaching assistant</style></keyword></keywords><dates><year><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">2023</style></year><pub-dates><date><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">June/2023</style></date></pub-dates></dates><urls><web-urls><url><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">https://oaji.net/articles/2023/457-1687425405.pdf</style></url></web-urls></urls><volume><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">81</style></volume><pages><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Continuous</style></pages><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language>
<style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Creative drama has great potential and its implementation in education from pre-school education requires research, as evidenced by the number of scientific studies that have been registered in international research databases over the last ten years. The aim of the research was to examine the use of creative drama methods within kindergartens in Slovakia from the perspective of the kindergarten teaching staff (teachers and teaching assistants). A quantitative research design was used. 407 kindergarten teaching staff responded to the items of the questionnaire of the authors' construction. From the results of the research, it is possible to state that there is an average level of knowledge of creative drama among kindergarten teaching staff (based on their self-reflection). Furthermore, based on the self-reflection of the teaching staff, it can be stated that there are below-average opportunities for their education in the area of creative drama and a below-average level of using creative drama methods in kindergartens. Nevertheless, the status of the use of creative drama methods has improved over the last 10 years. The results of the research are a stimulus for further research - analysis of the responses of the teaching staff in terms of their age and pedagogical practice in order to estimate the development of the current state of using creative drama in kindergartens. </style>
<issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">3</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Original article</style></work-type><section><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">388-400</style></section></record></records></xml>
