The main purpose of the research evaluates students in four different categories about 10th-grade illuminance subjects by using Logger Pro technology within the scope of STEM. The study was carried out with 84 students at the school where the researcher taught in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. Within the scope of action research, qualitative and quantitative methods were used together. Quantitative findings were evaluated with SPSS and qualitative findings were evaluated with content analysis. Based on the research findings, it is revealed that the use of experimental content supported by innovative technology within the scope of science in high schools make a significant contribution in three categories within the scope of hopes and goals for STEM. Making applications supported by Logger Pro with technological content in schools improves the responsibilities of students in homework, contributes to their successful graduation from high schools and enables them to get into the departments they want in the university. These practices cause students to enjoy the professions they will choose in the future and help them reach their favorite professions by working harder. </style>
<issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">5</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Original article</style></work-type><section><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">751-766</style></section></record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Juraj Slabeycius</style></author><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Daniel Polčin</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">HOW ICT CAN ENHANCE THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL</style></title><secondary-title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Problems of Education in the 21st Century</style></secondary-title></titles><keywords><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">digital education</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">ICT</style></keyword><keyword><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">physics teaching</style></keyword></keywords><dates><year><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">2012</style></year><pub-dates><date><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">December/2012</style></date></pub-dates></dates><urls><web-urls><url><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">http://oaji.net/articles/2014/457-1419345983.pdf</style></url></web-urls></urls><volume><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">50</style></volume><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language>
<style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">The study deals with the causes and consequences of disinterest of pupils in mathematics and physics and looking for a way how to increase the attractiveness of these subjects in primary and secondary schools. One possibility is the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching process. The study refers on EDULAB project, created as an initiative of NGO and private sector. Its aim is to create a wide program of electronic education and support material for schools based on ICT. The EDULAB education center gives primary and secondary schools in Slovakia the opportunity to gain practical skills in the application of ICT in education. Via the portal www.naucteviac.sk EDULAB provides schools more than 30 000 multimedia resources for five science subjects. These are multimedia materials of company Young Digital Planet, known as &quot;universal curriculum&quot; tailored to national language. Nevertheless, the latest computer technology, interactive whiteboards, other computer peripherals and multimedia e-learning programs don’t give school the guarantee for an increase of the of pupils’ knowledge, as long as the digital learning materials contain a number of errors and unacceptable simplification.

The project was aimed at improving the quality of the study programmes of the physics teacher training by means of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in physics teaching and show relations between subjects. Some surveys in the Czech Republic show that physics is negatively evaluated by students in primary and secondary schools. In this article it is described some possibilities how to popularize in physics and science education using modern tools. The first part this article describes a searching interdisciplinary relation, which has an assignment to show connections between physics phenomena and human body. In the second part is introduced a voting system, through the teachers improve students in their lessons. The last part of the article attend to remote control experiments, which students, experimenters, teachers or any users can control all our experiments from its personal computer through the Internet from the website http://www.ictphysics.upol.cz/remotelab/.</style>
<work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Original article</style></work-type><section><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">112-118</style></section></record></records></xml>
